Legacy of Classroom

Is it cliché if it is to have said that classroom is holy place where children can acquire knowledge? May be once upon a time it was giving good sense, as students used to respect the classroom and treat as it was said.

Moreover the atmosphere and appearance of the classroom was metaphor for learning with devotion and dedication and it is to be opined in many dimensions with devotional graces.

The culture and practices what students had had those days, the way of learning, the amount with the quality of knowledge what students were getting may be the reasons. The power of knowledge was reflection of the classroom. The structure of the classroom was simple, and poor in appearance but had values, masteries over all subjects besides life lessons. 

But the legacy of classroom is truly a phenomenon, isn’t it? It makes really to still with awe when the transformation is analysed. It ought to be acceptable as the changes are nature rules in life which can be considered as a pivot. Hence changes always play pivotal role in all the angles of life.

 In this day and age the nature and grace of the classroom is of course quite different but expectation behind it is highly for the holistic development of the child. Classroom is not only a physical place where students do something with knowledge and skills but it has to become the platform where they have to excel their concealed talents invariably based on subjects.

Empirically the positive changes in classroom are agreeable and expected also because the first most thing is to metamorphose the classroom from humdrum to bubbly mien. Here the students are taught with lot of activities where they can involve with fervour and animal spirit in a lot of hands on activities, research work, group discussion role play, skit, elocution, extempore and so on. All these things happen with their peer groups where they can apprehend, grasp, share and jot down information in their level in an easy and comfortable way. Of course this kind of learning process undoubtedly changes the classroom look and lively learning can be seen. Can it be lebelled a negative impact? Not always, but, when the students misuse the opportunity, absence of teachers, class, tools available that spoil the dignity of classroom. In such cases the purpose of changes in education fails to reach the goal of education. So that here the children’s rational thinking capacity, parents’ vigilance and teachers’ monitoring must be on right track. Moreover students must have conscience.

Teachers are index fingers to show the right path, to connect the students into the lavish and lively learning. 

 This is very beautiful to remember that classroom was utterly simple and poorly built but learnings and take away for life were infinite but resounds still sweetly while   nature and features of present classroom is completely different. Tools for unique learning are essentially needed such as: content, control, contact, connection, behaviour, bond and to-do-list must be followed by teachers to make classroom innovative and enjoyable. 

Whatsoever the classroom can be colourfully, cheerfully, canorously and creatively constructed by clever minds. 

To make the present education perfect and modify, in this day and age the role of technology plays a key role in the field of education.  Education is a flowing water where it has to take new dimensions and turns. There are a lot of latest gizmos which strengthen and smoothen the learning process. To change the system is a challenge but need of hour to sustain the standards. Henceforth teacher and usage of technical tools must go hand in hand.
